I break down my services into three stages.
You reach out via my contact form and tell me what you need help with. This could be writing, re-writing, or editing a whole bunch of stuff, such as:
I specialise in creating content that’s written in plain English. This decreases miscommunications with employees, contractors, and customers, which saves you a tonne of time and resources in the long run.
Once I know what you need my help with, we’ll jump on a quick 15 minute video chat together to discuss the project further. If you decide we’re an amazing fit for each other, I’ll send you a quote, you’ll pay the deposit, and I’ll be good to get started on your project.
This is the fun part where you (mostly) sit back and relax while I nerd out and do my thing. First, we’ll have a deeper conversation via video chat (up to 60 minutes) about the project specifics. Once it’s clear what you need, I’ll create the outline and send it to you for approval first. There’s no use in wasting time writing a whole heap of words first and having to start again because it wasn’t what you had in mind!
When you’re happy with the outline, I’ll start writing the first draft and email it to you once it’s done. I’ll also send the final invoice to you when I send the first draft. You’ll read over the draft, provide feedback, and send it back to me to change anything if required. (I offer 2 rounds of revisions.)
Once you’re happy with the final revisions, we’ll do a 30 second dance to celebrate the occasion! You’ll pay your invoice (if you haven’t already) according to the payment terms, and then you’ll tell all your small-business-owner friends how freakin’ amazing I am to work with! I’ll also send you a short survey to complete so I can continuously improve. It’s pretty simple, right?
Every project is different, so I can’t give you a one-size-fits-all price. If you want to work with me, contact me via my contact form to tell me about your project.
